A major part of my FMP was using an existing font to create typographic illustrations of Britain. I decided to concentrate on Colchester, my home town. I photographed iconic buildings in Colchester which I then recreated using Impact. I chose Impact because it is a solid, bold font which worked really well in the illustrations. Above is the Colchester Town Hall.
